  • Mexico Beach Vacations

Mexico's beaches are renowned as being among the best beaches in the world. They are tempting and beautiful with white sand and absolutely pristine with clear blue waters. It's no wonder that these beaches attract millions of visitors each and every year and is particularly popular for Mexico Honeymoon vacations. But it's not just about the beaches, gorgeous as they are, there are plenty of things to see and do while you are on vacation in Mexico and when you put it all together a Mexico trip can be one of the most wonderful experiences of your life.

While on a Mexico beach vacation you are in charge, you can simply relax in the sun lying on the beach, or if you are feeling more active you could take part in some scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, or surfing. Visit Mayan ruins, enjoy one of the famous Mexican festivals or carnivals, take a boat trip, do an eco-tour and much much more!

The most popular beaches are those in Chichen Itza, Tulum, Ixtapa, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Escondido, Cozumel, Concun, and Cabo San Lucas. Each area has a great delection of beaches for you to choose from and Mexico is such a big place that you dont have to fight the crowds to get a space on the beach!

It is better to decide which beaches you are going to visit prior to your trip. All Mexican beaches obviously have sand and sun, but different beaches cater for different needs, some are familyorientated with play facilities and sheltered coves for safe swimming, some are more adult orientated with music, bars and intense water sports, some are even naturist/nudist!. You can stay at any number of fine hotels and resorts on the beach, as each beach area along the coast has accommodations ranging from very budget hotel rooms to luxury beachfront villa rentals. Cancun is one of the most famous beach destinations for tourists from all over the the world, probably because of its beautiful waters and beautiful  beaches. Tulum is another beach resort that is just as pretty but slightly less popular, but it has one of the best beaches in all of Mexico.

Paying close attention to the time of the year you vacation in Mexico can save you money. The best times of the year to visit Mexico is from November to May but you want to avoid the major holidays, as prices increase in season. During June and July, the temperature can be  too hot for many, especially young children, so try and avoid the peak of summertime.
